Aerogel-Shop.com is the online silica aerogel shop of VIRTUAVIA SARL, a French company based in Grenoble and founded in 2000. For more than 25 years, VirtuaVia has distributed specialised technical and scientific products: phototherapy, optics, infrared, electronics, pneumatic conveying… and now aerogel.
Why aerogel?
Because no other material inspires so much wonder. Holding a solid made of more than 99% air in your hand, watching light turn blue then amber inside it: it is a physics lesson you never forget. We want to make this exceptional material accessible to teachers, pupils, science enthusiasts and collectors, at a fair price.
Our commitments
- Fast shipping: your orders leave within 1 to 2 working days, tracked.
- Careful packaging: aerogel is fragile, so we protect it accordingly.
- Transparency: prices including VAT, clear shipping costs, unretouched photos.
- Responsive customer service: a team in France that replies in French and English.
